Something To Cheer For – If it wasn’t for Eddie Lacy winning the NFL Rookie of the Year award, this weekend would’ve been pretty much a wash for Wisconsin based teams.  Marquette got handled easily by St John’s and the Badgers dropped yet another one vs Ohio State. So rather than focus on the bad, let’s focus on the Packers first Rookie of the Year since 1972. Lacy was a workhorse all season & one of the reasons why the Packers could even think about sniffing the playoffs while Aaron Rodgers was sidelined. We saw it game after game as Lacy rushed to 1178 yards for the season, beating all other rookie running backs. So while the rest of the weekend may leave a sour taste, we can all be happy for Lacy and even more happy about what it means for the Packers moving forward.
