Another Year Down – We’ve come to the end of another year & it’s been an interesting one in Wisconsin sports. We experienced the first year of Gary Andersen leading the Badgers which will culminate in tomorrow’s Capital One Bowl game. By all accounts, I’m pretty happy with Andersen & am looking forward to seeing what he does moving forward. While the Badgers hoops team had an early, disappointing end of the season last year this season is off to a stellar start. Marquette fared a bit better than the Badgers though & had a solid run in March. We lived through a putrid Brewers season plus the suspension of Ryan Braun for PEDs which made things all the uglier for the ‘Crew. The Bucks, well, they’re the Bucks but they did draft a potential super star in Giannis Antetokounmpo & look to be setting up a top 3 pick in the Summer’s draft which is a deep one. And lastly, the Packers lost Aaron Rodgers for almost half the season & yet somehow are in the playoffs. How far the Packers can go in the playoffs is a different topic but hey, I didn’t even think they’d get in so happy about that. So as they say, never a dull moment.

The Daybreak Doppler will be taking the day off tomorrow so I’ll wish you all a Happy New Year now. Enjoy whatever it is you’ll be doing to ring in the New Year and we’ll see you back here on Thursday.
