Step Away From The Ledge – Straight from Aaron Rodgers on his radio show yesterday, Rodgers has a fractured collarbone.  Now, there aren’t any time tables yet for return but the most optimistic of those bandied about is possibly three weeks. Should that go to plan, Rodgers would return for the Thanksgiving game against the Lions & luckily the 3 games leading up to it have less the fear inducing opponents. On top of that, the Packers have a bona fide running game this year with Eddie Lacy & James Starks so while of course Rodgers will be sorely missed there are assets still available.  All Seneca Wallace (or Scott Tolzien) needs to do is keep defenses marginally honest with some high percentage passes & let the run game be the focal point in these coming weeks. McCarthy will definitely be earning his keep as he tries to work with what he has here but it can be done.  As long as the Packers can get 2 out of these upcoming 3 games sans Rodgers the post-season should still be in reach. Of course, should we end up looking at 4+ weeks for Rodgers’ return then all bets are off.
