Going To See A Young Frontcourt – Last year as a freshman Sam Dekker lived up to our hopeful expectations & I can’t wait to see him on the court again this year with a season of experience under his belt. As I’ve mentioned & everyone assumes we’ll see a smaller, 3 guard line-up a lot from the Badgers this year so however Ryan fills the backcourt along with Dekker we’ll see Frank Kaminsky as rounding out the starting five. After Dekker & Kaminsky it would not surprise me to see Bo Ryan lean heavily on the two incoming freshman forwards from Ohio, Nigel Hayes & Vitto Brown. Both Hayes & Brown have college ready bodies & athleticism so lacking the physical attributes won’t keep them off the court. So while it may not happen right away, just like Dekker last year after a little seasoning, expect to see both Hayes & Brown leap frogging the upperclassmen ahead of them.
