Badgers & Packer Notch Wins – So it started Saturday where the Badgers bulldozed Northwestern 35-6. I had concerns going into this game but it would appear they were for naught as after the initial series UW handled things pretty well on the way to the victory. Yesterday then we watched as the Packers beat the reigning Super Bowl Ravens although that game didn’t go quite as smoothly. I was mightily impressed with AJ Hawk who totally stepped up his game as did the run defense in general. Rookie Eddie Lacy also had a solid performance racking up 120 yards & providing the running game which has been missing for so long in Green Bay. Of course, wouldn’t be a Packers game if someone didn’t get hurt & both James Jones & Randall Cobb went out of the game. From reports both Jones & Cobb aren’t hurt as bad as thought but we’ll have to wait and see this week to really find out. For now we can enjoy a Victory Monday though & start to get ready for the Browns this weekend.
