Need to Break This Habit – The Red Zone has not been a happy place for the Packers this year & as the season progresses it’s something that needs to be remedied. We’ve seen it all season with the team. The Packers seem to move the ball well between the 20’s but once they get down by the end zone sealing the deal is not happening. Thankfully Mason Crosby has returned to form so those possessions are ending in points, but 7 is better than 3 and its the field goals that are happening way more than the touchdowns. As exciting as seeing 83 yard TD passes is from your own part of the field, I’d be a lot happier to see 5-10-15 yard touchdowns happening more consistently within the opponent’s 20. I’m not sure really what the answer is, whether it’s play calling or personnel but if the Packers are to keep winning they’ll need to sort it out sooner than later.
