A Welcome Home Opener – With most of still reeling from the end of the Badgers game the night before, the Packers game was just what we needed to help get that bad taste out of our mouths. All in all just a dominating performance in almost every aspect of the game. Rodgers had a career day in spreading the ball around on his way to a 480 yd passing game & 4 TDs to three different receivers, tying with Matt Flynn for that team record. When Eddie Lacy went out with a concussion early, James Starks came in & he tallied 100+ yards on the ground making most of think it was 2010 all over again. The Redskins did post 20 points but the bulk of those happened in garbage time so the Defense also did their job in stifling the Washington offense. All in all a great performance getting the Packers to even on the young season & looking ahead to a trip to Cincinnati this coming weekend.
