Let’s Try This Again – If you were like me, last weekend Packers’ game against the 49ers was disappointing but perhaps expected. I felt that the Packers could definitely win the game but had a feeling they wouldn’t. Maybe that was just my way of setting the table to mitigate that impending disappointment. This week I feel a bit different. It’s the Packers home opener and after seeing the Redskins play on Monday night I feel pretty good about things. Of course, anything can happen but unlike last week I’m not setting myself up for disappointment, so hopefully that’s the way it ends & we have our first Victory Monday of the year.
Besides the Packers game on Sunday, the Badgers will be facing Arizona State late Saturday evening. This will be the first big test for UW but I’m thinking they’ll rise to the occasion & start the Big Ten portion of the schedule at 3-0. Enjoy the football this weekend as well as one of the Brewers last remaining home stands should you be so inclined & we’ll see you back here Monday morning.
