Not Enough To Keep Up – The Packers definitely played a better game than they did the last time they met the 49ers but it still wasn’t enough to get the win yesterday. The run defense played great and overall kept Kaepernick contained but that just let him beat the Packers with his arm, mostly to Anquan Boldin who seemed to be open way too much. It didn’t help that Morgan Burnett was out of the game either as it was pretty evident he was missed in the defensive back field. Opening with the season with a loss stings, but it’s one game so a long way to go. I would say it may be a very safe bet we will be seeing the 49ers again at the end of the season & can hope for a better result then.
