Half Way There After This One – The second preseason game will be upon us as the Packers travel to St. Louis to take on the Rams. For this game I would expect to see a little more playing time for Aaron Rodgers but no more than a full quarter if that. We’ll see if the Bakhtiari can continue his solid play and I would think finally get a good look at Eddie Lacy playing against non-Packers. I sincerely doubt we’ll see much of Datone Jones on Saturday which is the right play with his ankle injury. I’ll be curious to see what a full week of practice will have done for Vince Young too because as far as I can see the #2 QB spot is still wide open so a solid performance would help the former 1sr rounder. Most importantly, win or loss, just hope the Packers all get on the plane home healthy and uninjured.
Besides tomorrow night’s game, the Brewers continue their 4 game set this weekend against the Reds where really all they can do is hope to play spoiler as the Reds battle St. Louis for a possible Wild Card spot in the NL. I guess it’s something to root for…hell, at this point it’s all we can root for. Have a grand weekend everyone and we’ll see you back here Monday morning.
