Encouraging To Say The Least – I had figured the Brewers would be able to at least win the weekend series with the Cubs to get them to even on the season so the sweep was just icing on the cake. Perhaps the nicest thing to see over the weekend was some solid pitching, both from the starters & the bullpen. Granted, the Cubs are hardly world beaters but it was nice to see the Brewers win games they should which often enough in baseball can go either way. We’ll see if the ‘Crew can keep the winning streak alive as they start a West Coast swing this week starting with the Padres tonight.
