Time To Rebound…Get it? Rebound? – Both Marquette & Wisconsin will be back on the court tomorrow, both trying to get back to winning ways. For Marquette, it’s been a week off since the overtime defeat to Cincinnati. Marquette will get the benefit of being back home at the BMO Bradley Center for their afternoon game against Providence, who is coming off of a loss to Pittsburgh this past Tuesday. Tipping off at the same time as the Golden Eagles, the Badgers can hopefully get some better shooting overall vs what we saw against MSU when they take on Minnesota at the Kohl Center. Like Marquette’s opponent, the Gophers are also coming off of a loss this past week. Both Wisconsin & Marquette are in the thick of things in their respective conferences so W’s are crucial for those standings but also to get some confidence back for both teams. I think Marquette should be able to easily handle Providence but have my worries about Wisconsin after what I saw on Tuesday. Guess we’ll see tomorrow afternoon how it turns out for both teams.
That’s a wrap on another week here. I’ll assume everyone made it through the deep freeze this past weekend & is looking forward to those balmy temps in the mid-20’s we’ll be seeing over the weekend. Enjoy the college hoops action this weekend as well as the Bucks who are playing both tonight & tomorrow and we’ll see you back here Monday morning.
