The Power of Pack Fans – The Pro Bowl selections were announced yesterday, with Aaron Rodgers, Clay Matthews & Jeff Saturday making the team. The first two selections of Matthews & Rodgers are pretty obvious ones but the Saturday selection is something of a head scratcher. Of course, a third of the entire vote is determined by fans so it should be no surprise that Packers’ fans did some ballot stuffing to get Saturday an edge. That being said, the other two thirds of the vote are made up of NFL players & coaches so there had to be support for Saturday there too. Perhaps there was some sentimental votes there in the non-fan voting, which is just fine by me. Saturday has been nothing but a class act this year, whether if it was his benching last week or his disappointment that Josh Sitton didn’t make Pro Bowl. So whether you believe Saturday should be in the Pro Bowl based on this play his your counsel because I have no problem with him being there for what he’s done & how he’s acted off the field.
