A Little More Normal – We made it past the Packers bye relatively unscathed and this weekend will seem a bit more normal having the Packers back on the field come Sunday. Of course, things aren’t that normal for the Packers, especially when it comes to the offensive line as we’ll have our first game with new configuration of it. I’m pretty confident Dietrich-Smith will be fine as well as Lang playing in his new position. If there’s one thing that concerns me about this upcoming game it’ll be how or can the Packers be able to apply pressure on Matthew Stafford. I’ll trust in Capers to figure something out to make sure Stafford doesn’t have all day in the pocket to find Megatron.
On Saturday we’ll, hopefully, be able to witness history as Montee Ball breaks the NCAA all-time touchdown record when the Badgers take on Ohio State. Ball will need two TD’s to do it & if I were a betting man I’d say he does. Beyond that, it’s a game against Ohio State & while the Buckeyes are basically paying for pride this year due to sanctions against them, it’s still Ohio State who to me is the Big Ten version of the Minnesota Vikings…I can’t stand them.
That’ll do it for this week folks. Stay tuned for the Pocket Doppler Prognosticators later today, enjoy the weekend & what it brings and we’ll see you back here Monday morning.
