Won’t Be A Cakewalk – The Badgers take on 10th ranked Florida tonight in what is sure to be a much more daunting task then the season opener. Like Wisconsin did to Southeast Louisiana this past Sunday, Florida manhandled Alabama State holding them to a total of 35 points while the Gators notched 84. On top of Florida being a quality, Top 10 team Wisconsin will also have to deal with playing on the Gators’ home court. There were some encouraging things to come out of Wisconsin’s opener, primarily the play of the inexperienced backcourt which was obviously something of a question mark once Josh Gasser went down for the season. That performance though was against an inferior opponent so we’ll get to see just how well George Marshall, Ben Brust & Traevon Jackson fare against a Florida team which is anything but inferior. Hopefully the answers will be more on the positive than the negative.
