A Win & Some Rest – A 31-17 win at Lambeau yesterday unfortunately did need leave the Packers unscathed by further injuries, with Jordy Nelson, Bryan Bulaga & Clay Matthews all getting dinged up. The BYE week timing here is perfect though so these guys, and others, can get some much needed time to rest up and hopefully return. Even with a lot of starters out, the offense played well with James Jones & Randall Cobb more than making up for the loss of Jennings & eventually Nelson in the game. Rodgers wasn’t happy with his performance based on post-game comments, but he did enough to get the ball in the end zone four times as well as extend the winning streak to four games. We’ll take it, head into to the BYE week and see who can return from the injury list in a couple weeks.
