Keep ‘Em Honest At Least – Sunday will mark the beginning of the post-Cedric Benson period for the Packers. Replacing Benson will be the three-headed ‘attack’ of Alex Green, James Starks & Brandon Saine. Out of those three we most likely will see the most action out of Alex Green & then James Starks. Saine will pop in there everyone once in a while but I don’t think to any great effect. I’ve liked the idea of Alex Green since he was drafted, I’m still waiting on the fruition of that. James Starks didn’t live up to his ‘Neo’ billing last year so if I’m placing faith anywhere it has to be in Green. Green showed flash last Sunday with his 41 yard run but not much up until then. Starks on the other hand, well we haven’t even seen him on the field yet so who knows what we’ll get with him. The Packers are a passing team though and while a running game had begun to develop with Benson in, all we can hope for right now is that Green & Co are used enough & get enough yards to keep defenses honest while they work into their starting roles.
