Keep Your Roster Sheet Handy – There are a whole bunch of players listed as injured for tonight as Lambeau opens up for the first time in 2012 for this Packers v Browns pre-season tilt. Now sure, not all of those injured players are starters but there are a fair amount so we’ll be getting a perhaps more than normal pre-season  dose of those playing for position or to make the team. This isn’t necessary a bad thing, it’s a very big part of the pre-season & is to be expected so whether that many players were injured or not, we’d most likely be seeing the same personnel no matter. Of note to tonight will be to see how Casey Hayward responds to his shot in the limelight & the continued development of both Nick Perry & Jerel Worthy. As mentioned earlier this week, I’m high on Hayward so would like to see him rise to the occasion & obviously picks 1 & 2 from this past draft need to continue to progress, not only for the Packers defensive sake, but for us fans too so we don’t have to bemoan another hideous defense this year. Best of all though, no matter who’s playing & pre-season or not, there will be Packers football on our TVs tonight & that is never a bad thing. And don’t forget, added bonus – more replacement refs!!
