Whew – You had to be a bit concerned when you saw Marshal Newhouse leave during the Friday Night’s Family Night Scrimmage. Left tackle is a wee bit thin but as we found out yesterday Newhouse suffered a concussion and is possible for Thursday’s first preseason game. These types of things are bound to happen during Training Camp so you almost have to expect them but the protection of Aaron Rodgers is paramount, so it was a little cringe worthy. By the time the real season rolls around though back up Derek Sherrod should be ready to add some depth & there is still Herb Taylor, but Newhouse is the player we all want in that spot & it looks like he’ll be fine. Bullet dodged for now.
