An Almost Perfect Pitching Performance – Some games you just run into a buzz saw & that’s what happened last night to the Brewers in Cincinnati with Mat Latos on the mound. I don’t ever like to see the Brewers drop a game, but if you’re going to lose, losing because the pitcher you were facing was just on fire is better than losing because of poor execution or mistakes. There was one bright spot last night, and really throughout the season, which was Norichika Aoki taking Latos yard to put the only point up the Brewers had last night. If you’re looking for a bright spot in what seems to be an increasing glum season, Aoki would be it. Series continues tonight so let’s see if the Brewers can put some bats on balls & force a rubber match tomorrow.
