That Was A Really Long Game – Headed into Minnesota on Friday Brewers fans were still reeling from a sweep at the hands of the Royals. You had to be a little anxious as the Twins always seem to play the Brewers tough, but the Brewers answered & were able to take the first two games of the series. More importantly we got to see John Axford get his groove back, something everyone involved needed to see. Yesterday though it just wasn’t meant to be it would appear. After stops & starts, not to mention an extra innings rain delay the Brewers ended the series with a whimper that was drawn out over 15 innings. On the bright side, the Brewers did win the series so we’ll have to be happy with that. Inter-league play continues tonight as the Blue Jays come into Miller Park for a 3 game set.
