This is a very scientific formula that works for me: Aoki + HR x 2 = Brewers win, 4-3 in 10.

Didn’t See That One Coming – With Randy Wolf on the mound for yesterday’s afternoon rubber match in the Brewers/Cubs series I really wasn’t too hopeful. Wolf proved me wrong & it was K-Rod in the 8th who ended up giving up the long ball when the game was tied to give the Cubs the lead. Corey Hart tied it back up so from a scoreless 9th to the 10th we went. Axford held serve & that’s when Norichika Aoki stepped up to the plate, decided enough was enough & knocked one out for the walk off win. Aoki’s blast was his second of the game too which made it all the better. The Padres come into Miller Park this weekend to finish off this home stand, let’s see if the Brewers can hit the road with two series wins under their belt. That would be nice.
I don’t know about you all, but after the short week from the Memorial Day Holiday last week these 5 day work weeks really stink, don’t they? I’m ready for some deck time, some sun & some Brewers baseball on the radio. I imagine you all are too or a variation thereof so get out there & do that, have a great weekend & we’ll see you back here Monday morning.

Dang, why all the hatred towards flip-flops in the “10 Things Women Wear” article? As a firm believer in open-toed shoes, I am disappointed.
