Never Doubted It… – As was talked about the night before, it was confirmed yesterday that the Packers & fan favorite Donald Driver reached a deal to keep Driver in the fold.  From a purely sentimental stand point I couldn’t be more thrilled to have Driver a Packer.  From a purely football stand point, just because there’s a deal doesn’t mean Driver will ultimately make the team though. There are OTAs, Mini-camps & finally Training Camp where receivers like Tori Gurley & Diondre Borel can make their cases they belong more than Driver.  That being said, if I were a betting man, come the first game of the season I think we will see #80 lined up and ready to play, even if it mean the Packers will keep 6 wide receivers on the 2012 squad.  Beyond that I can’t really say, but for now I’m glad to know Donald Driver is a Green Bay Packer.
