Coaching ‘Em Up – Both OLB Coach Kevin Greene & D-line Coach Mike Trgovac have to be pretty happy with their two new players, Nick Perry & Jerel Worthy. I think they’ll also have a lot of work ahead of them too when it comes to preparing Nick Perry & Jerel Worthy for the coming season. Greene, working with Perry, may have the harder job as he’ll be coaching Perry in an entirely new position. Greene will have some help though in his protégé Clay Matthews, a teammate of Perry from USC. Trgovac’s main job I think will be keeping the Worthy motivated, based on what I’ve read about the former Spartan’s penchant for occasionally taking plays off. Both coaches will have a full plate once OTAs & Minicamps start, but I imagine they’re also both very eager & pleased to start working with their new positional players.
