Strong Opening Performances – Both Wisconsin & Marquette won their initial NCAA Tournament games.  Wisconsin handled Montana with some hot shooting early on & never looked back once they got a solid lead winning 73-49.  Marquette, playing pretty much at the same time Wisconsin was in a ridiculous scheduling decision, ushered BYU out the door with a solid 88-68 performance.  Next up it should be a little tougher for both teams.  Wisconsin will face Vanderbilt & Marquette will take on Murray State, both games on Saturday.  I said earlier this week I expect both teams to advance to next weekend and I’ll stick by that prognostication, although I think Wisconsin will definitely have the tougher go of it.
