• News Flash, haters, 14-1 is hardly Sucking for Luck!
  • Complain all you want about the defense, but the Packers still whomped the Bears on Christmas, knocking the Midgets of the Midway out of the playoffs in the process. Thank you, Santa!
  • It was nice to see Twelve smiling again in a post-game presser.
  • The offensive line really was firing on all cylinders last night. Rodgers rarely seemed rushed.
  • Kudos to TJ Lang for really doing a fabulous job  last night in the Right Tackle position.
  • And for all the hate Marshall Newhouse received last week, it looks like he had the last laugh. Different game for him this week and he did not disappoint.
  • Five TDs in the air, 21/29 passes, and 283 yards of passing in THREE quarters. Not too shabby for a guy the pundits have kicked to the curb in favor of Drew Brees for MVP.
  • Seriously, someone explain to me (and not with insane troll logic) why Drew Brees deserves to be MVP and Rodgers does not. I’ll listen and I promise I wouldn’t even wear my homer pants and be objective about it.
  • Yes, I’m hard on Finley. But is TD this week doesn’t give him a total pass this week.  He needs to stop dropping passes. Period. No excuses. No whining to the ref because the corner looked at him wrong. Just catch the ball. Seriously.
  • I’m sad the Packers used Kuhn as a decoy and didn’t let him bang it through when they were on the goal line.
  • Thank god we didn’t the Wildcat this weekend. It’s gimmicky, especially when you have the best QB in the league. Why wouldn’t you want him in on every offensive play?
  • He’s not known for his speed in the open field, but Aaron Rodgers managed to juke and fake out Urlacher! Hey, Brian, that one was for that interception in the NFC Championship. Consider it payback.
  • Over all the offense looked excellent. They will only be stronger when Jennings returns in time for the playoffs.
  • The Defense bent but did not break. That’s not to say they were pretty damn coyote ugly tonight.
  • Seriously, getting outmatched by a Substitute Quarterback is not a good thing.
  • If they want to make a deep run into the playoffs, they are going to have to figure out some way–and I don’t care how–to defend against the run. Just reminder, Frank Gore is a 49er.
  • The secondary was biting too many times on fakes…by a substitute QB.
  • But the defense won the battle of the takeaways again. When they do it, the Packers win games.
  • Not exactly sure why Crosby and Masthay kept on kicking to Devin Hester. Unlike the September 2010 game. Not that it really mattered this time around.
  • Impressed with how well the team functioned from a penalty flag standpoint. Aside from Bush punching the ball out of bounds, did the Packers even draw a flag at any other point in the game?
  • The goal between now and the middle of January is to stay healthy.
  • Would not be surprised if Rodgers plays a few drives then rests on the sidelines.
  • Yeah, home field advantage through the playoffs sounds pretty good to me.
  • The Packers aren’t a perfect package, but I would never want them to peak in December, so I’m not freaking out.
  • 14-1. Not too shabby for team written off by the media a week ago.
  • And did I mention I love that the Bears have been knocked out of the playoffs?
  • Bring on the Kitty Cats!

Urlacher & the other guy colliding as QB1 whizzed by them was as enjoyable as any slapstick comedy I’ve ever seen. :)

I think Rodgers is now “one up” on Brianna Urlacher. After that INT last year, he was ARM TACKLED by a freaking QB and then last night, that same QB juked him AND his buddy out of his jock. Score: QB1 2, Urlacher 1.
