• Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the trap game. Even Princess Leia agrees.
  • We all knew this day was coming. Would rather have this loss now than in the post-season. If anything it will provide a nice Hubrisectomy as they refocus the rest of the season and beyond.
  • Nothing seemed to go right.
  • Trying to put a positive spin on things, it was that ugly loss in Detroit last year that seemed to light a fire under the Packer’s butt and got them thinking about survival. Hopefully now that the perfect season monkey is off their back they can focus on a goal that is really important.
  • That said, I’m kind of sad they aren’t perfect any more.
  • Seriously, the first half was more than ugly and I’m convinced the real Green Bay Packers were gagged and tied up in some mop closet deep in the bowels of Arrowhead.
  • Rodgers seemed off. I know the receivers dropped more passes than I care to recall, but it looks like Rodgers did not have a good half either. Something seemed off.
  • Then again he seemed very rushed all day long.
  • Then again, is it hard to be on when you are starting a drive from the parking lot.
  • Jermichael Finley continues to infuriate me. Honey, if you want to be paid like the best Tight End in the entire NFL, it may behoove you to play more like Gronk and a heck of a lot less like Bubba Franks. Find that chemistry you claim to lack with that unnamed quarterback and figure out how you can actually catch the ball before you end up watching the entire game from the sidelines.
  • Mason Crosby proved he is still Mason Crosby, warts and all.
  • The Packers have the Wildcat. Who knew?
  • Makes me wonder if something is wrong with Twelve if they are needing to pull the ‘Cat out of their bag of tricks.
  • Hard to win even a Pop Warner game when you drop eight passes. Sigh.
  • Secondary seemed to watch the ball all day instead of trying to take it away.
  • Not worried about Bulaga. He was moving too well to miss next week. Figure McCarthy was willing to cut losses here and not risk his Hawkeye for the games that really matter.
  • For as much as I have criticized Derek Sherrod this season, I’m really bummed with his injury. It didn’t look good. You don’t get taken off stretcher with a one-way ticket to a Trauma Center with a blown ACL. Pretty sure something is broken and that was a season-ender we saw today.
  • That said, does anyone have Mark Tauscher’s number? The O-Line is dropping like flies.
  • Thank God Clifton is close to returning.
  • Packers need something positive for the O-line, because they won’t win games if Rodgers is flat on his back.
  • But there’s some positive from today.
  • Congratulations to Aaron Rodgers on setting a new single season record for touchdown passes. Forty makes thirty-nine officially irrelevant.
  • And in other news, Tim Masthsay had a good day. So there’s that.
