Time to Tune Out – So this lockout thing, you know, the one that is threatening the NFL Season? Surly you’ve heard about that, right? Well if you haven’t, consider yourself lucky as for the past day or so it’s pretty much the only thing that has been on my Twitter feed. Hope, despair, angst, ennui and confusion have been the primary components of people discussing the lockout on Twitter and elsewhere. If you’re all up in a flutter about what’s going on, take my advice and just tune it out or at the very least don’t let it actually affect your day to day life. There is still time to get the deal done and avoid the loss of any regular season games (I won’t say the same for preseason yet) & I simply can’t believe that deal won’t get done. There is simply too much at stake for both parties.
So tune it out, have a great weekend and a break from the heat (if you’re in the Midwest) and we’ll see you back here on Monday.
