NBA, Bucks Announce Full 2011-12 Schedule

The NBA and the Milwaukee Bucks have released their 2011-12 full game schedules.
NBA National Television Schedule Highlights:
• Opening Night: Mavericks will begin their title defense on Nov. 1 at home against the Bulls (8 ET, TNT), followed by Thunder vs. Lakers (10:30 ET, TNT)
• Western Conference finals rematch: Thunder vs. Mavericks on Nov. 5 (8:30 ET, NBA TV)
• On the Rise: Thunder vs. Bulls on Nov. 10 (8 ET, TNT)
• Star Power: Lakers vs. Heat on Dec. 8 (8 ET on TNT) and Heat vs. Lakers on March 4 (3:30 ET, ABC)
• Christmas Day triple-header: Celtics vs. Knicks (noon ET, ESPN), Heat vs. Mavericks (2:30 ET, ABC) and Bulls vs. Lakers (5 ET, ABC)
• MLK Day: Bulls vs. Grizzlies (1 ET, ESPN), Raptors vs. Hawks (4 ET, NBA TV), Thunder vs. Celtics (8 ET, TNT) and Mavericks vs. Lakers (10:30 ET, TNT)
• Eastern Conference finals rematch: Bulls vs. Heat on Jan. 19 (8 ET, TNT)
• Battle: Los Angeles: Lakers vs. Clippers on Jan. 20 (10:30 ET, ESPN)
Milwaukee Bucks 2011-12 Schedule Highlights:
• Opening Night: @San Antonio, Wednesday, November 2nd
• First Home Game: New York Knicks, Saturday, November 5th
• 2011 NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks make their lone Bradley Center appearance on Saturday, December 15
• Eastern Conference Champion Miami Heat make two stops in Milwaukee (Feb. 15, Mar. 22)
• Two Saturday night home match-ups against Central Division Champion Chicago Bulls (Nov. 26, Feb. 4)
• A three-game home stand over the Christmas holiday featuring Philadelphia (Dec. 21), Utah (Dec. 23) and Oklahoma City (Dec. 27)
• New Year’s Day Game: @Denver Nuggets
• A stretch in January where the Bucks will embark on road trips of five games (Jan. 1 – Jan. 7), three games (Jan. 13 – Jan. 16) and four games (Jan. 20 – Jan. 27) with two home games in between against San Antonio (Jan. 10) and Golden State (Jan. 18)
• After playing 12 of 14 on the road to start 2012, the Bucks welcome the Los Angeles Lakers to the Bradley Center (Jan. 28) as part of a three-game home stand including Detroit (Jan. 30) and Washington (Feb. 1)
• A season-long five game home stand where the Bucks will face Minnesota (Mar. 31), Atlanta (Apr. 3), Toronto (Apr. 7), Charlotte (Apr. 9) and New York (Apr. 11)

January is proof that the NBA couldn’t care less about teams like the Bucks. It’s all about the big stars and the teams that THEY play for.
