This team is going to the playoffs!

Sure they’re going, but the question is will they sit in the field box or the diamond loge section?

Kidding aside, I am not saying they are dead–too early for that. In the NL Central, they can certainly make it. But I am resigned to the fact that they are significantly flawed (mainly away from home, which sadly is half their schedule) and will be frustrating to watch even if they find a way to make the post-season.

However, their shortcomings are such that it wouldn’t surprise if if they peed down their leg and missed the playoffs. They’ve got a nice rotation and enough guys who can pop the ball, but the combination of the many little flaws could be enough to neutralize the good factors.
