Better Than The Alternative – Yesterday’s afternoon affair gave the Brewers and their fans what they both desperately needed – a win. The hero of the game was Casey McGhee who came in during the 8th to replace Mat Gamel and promptly knocked a 3 run jack to put the Brewers up 3-1 after trailing since the first inning. Friend of the Show Kyle had the best tweet of the game, responding to another Friend of the Show Jim from Bernie’s Crew:
“Casey McGehee disagrees. RT @BerniesCrew: Really think Gamel should’ve gotten to hit there“.
Minus the homer he gave up, have to give props to Yovani Gallardo as well as pitched solidly after that and also was the person behind the Brewers wearing the throwbacks to ‘change their luck’. Starting tonight is an important 4 game series against the Cincinnati Reds before the All-Star break next week. Can the ‘luck’ established yesterday hold through tonight & the weekend? I sure hope so.
