Our Friday Fan of the Week is no stranger to the Packer Twitter-verse, Kyle Cousineau. Beyond being one of the more active Packers fans out there on Twitter, Kyle also gets the nod for the chronicles of his Super Bowl XLV experiences on his blog, Shadows of Lambeau.

If you had three hours to spend with the above athelete, what would you do?: First I’d ask him if we could have 2 more hours. Once he would agree we would play a round of golf at Brown County here in Green Bay.

Wants to go golfing with Aaron Rodgers
Best Wisconsin Sports memory: Wow. Such a loaded question. I could say the any of the Badgers Rose Bowl births, or I could say the Badgers Final Four run, or I could talk about the Brewers playoff run in 2009. I could also talk about Super Bowl XXXI and the Packers wonderful run to their 3rd Super Bowl title. But my favorite WI sports memory, and quite possibly the best day of my life to date (I can say that because I’m not married and don’t have any kids) was February 6, 2011. Super Bowl XLV. I was lucky enough to be in attendance in Arlington, TX and being there, in person, to watch the Packers win the Super Bowl over the Steelers is my single greatest memory and one that I will cherish forever.
Any special, unique or odd Game Day traditions/supersitions?: Yes. I get very superstitious about the clothes I wear when the Packers are playing. For instance, during the 2010 NFL Season, I wore the exact same clothes (yes I washed them) when the Packers played the Giants, the Bears, the Eagles, the Falcons, the Bears, and the Steelers. Leading up to the Giants game I purchased a Packers belt buckle and waited for the right time to break it out. Why not a better place than at Lambeau in a “must win” game? The Packers won, obviously, and my streak started. I wore the same boxers, jeans, wife beater, undershirt, Packers shirt and Packers hat for all 6 of those games.
When not rooting for your favorite team, you’re most likely to be: Working, spending time with my friends and family, playing an occassional game of Madden online.
Anything else you want to share?: Go Pack Go!
Thanks to Kyle for his submission and glad we could have in this space. Kyle also moonlights at The Abbey Bar in De Pere so if you’d like to meet him in person while having a frosty beverage of your choice, head on down there.
