Still A Nice Rebound – Anyone who was feeling good going into the Phillies series after the weekend against the Nationals had to be delusional. Even more so knowing that in games 2 & 3 the Brewers would be facing Roy Halladay & Cliff Lee respectively. I guess this is why they play the games and while a sweep would have been nice taking 2 out of 2 from the Phillies in Philadelphia still feels pretty good. The Brewers are off today, with a weekend series against the Astros back home coming up, here’s hoping there’s not a repeat of last weekend and the ‘Crew plays up to its potential and not down to its opponent.
Lastly, I got word yesterday that the event prior to the May 14th Brewers-Reds game that Pocket Doppler is participating in has dropped in price, mostly likely because we’ll be there. Now, $40 will get you into the event which includes a Q & A with Brewers Asst GM Gord Ash, the chance to mingle with WTMJ Radio Personality Trenni Kusnierek & SI.com writer, Will Carroll as well as win some door prizes and other stuff. If you’re already going to the game, for just $25 you can attend the event. More info & registration can be found here: http://bigleaguetoursmilwaukeeparty-pocketdoppler.eventbrite.com/ .
