They Both Need That – For the Badgers, the win meant keeping pace in a Big Ten conference that may be opening up as Purdue also beat Ohio State this weekend, of course that loss to Purdue on Wednesday now stings a bit more. Perhaps the biggest thing for the Badgers to come out of Sunday night was Keaton Nankivil getting his shot back. If the Badgers plan on a strong finish which can carry into the Big Ten & NCAA Tournaments they will need another consistent scorer who is not named Leuer or Taylor. As for Marquette, when you’re on the low side of the bubble for the NCAA Tournament, every win counts. Marquette will have another shot to help their Tournament cause coming up this week at against a Top 25 team in UConn.
