Favre or the Vikings? – For the Q & A this week one of the questions I asked the guest is whether they thought the importance of this weekend’s game against the Vikings was on the divisional race or beating Favre? Thinking about it myself, I’m leaning towards the keeping pace in the division vs beating Favre.  Don’t get me wrong, there is a large part of me that still wants to see Favre get beat (& beat up) by the Packers but seeing his tired old act lately, I just can’t work up the same level of vitriol for him as I used to. I don’t know, maybe I’m getting soft in my old age or more likely just bored with whole Favre…thing. It’s still a Vikings game, I still hate them no matter who’s under center but for me it’s not just about beating Favre this time around.  What say you?

I’m with you, Wally. After the win at Lambeau, it is less about Favre and more about MN. This is particularly true as this is both a division game and a conference game. Right now it is about moving ahead of CHI rather than gaining some sort of satisfaction v. The Ol’ Gunslinger.

I really pray that the players aren’t as fixated on Favre yet as alot of fans seem to be.If they are,we’re in trouble Sunday. The focus of the fans and especially the players is DIVISION,HOME FIELD ADV,NFC CHMP,SUPER BOWL.I don’t care if CM3 sacks him or not, just win the game and move on.

That 70′s Show? Are they kidding?

Well, of course I hate Favre. It’s a given. Maybe not as much as I did a few weeks ago, but it’s not all gone. But this really is all about beating the Vikings. Knocking their QB on his ass is just a good side benefit.

I found it funny during the last game how the media highlighted the booing of Favre, as if Packer fans wouldn’t boo the Vikings anyway.
As for myself, any victory over the Vikings has always been its own reward.
