Cya - Well, I think we’ll all be glad when this week is over. The Packers BYE week is always a mixed blessing. It’s great to get the players healed & rested so they can hit the second half of the season strong but it stinks for us fans as we’re left without a game. I would even say it’s worse for bloggers as after you dissect the previous weeks’ game, you still have 3-4 days of time to fill with really not much. Of course the Al Harris thing helped provide fodder but really just brought out all the old Mike McCarthy/Ted Thompson haters who had finally shut up after the Packers beat the Vikings. Sure, the Bucks were on but I don’t start getting to invested in basketball until the college season starts in earnest and we do have a Badgers game this weekend, but it’s not the same as the anticipation of waiting for the Packers to play on Sunday. So we just have a few more days and then come Monday we can start getting amped up for the Vikings game which is thankfully at noon so I can have a beer or 6 during the game and not feel like ass on the following Monday.
Thanks for your time this week, Pocket Doppler Prognosticators will be up later today, have a wonderful weekend and we’ll see you back here on Monday.
