Will Clay Pull A PJ Hill – When the Badgers football season started John Clay was the undisputed #1 back for the Badgers.  Now, with the emergence of both James White & Montee Ball, I don’t know where to put him.  Really, ever since the MSU game Clay hasn’t been what I would deem a #1 back.  I wonder if after seeing his role diminish somewhat this year if Clay will do the same thing his predecessor PJ Hill did and declare for the 2011 NFL draft, foregoing his Senior year to avoid seeing fewer touches next year.   I think after this year, that may be a bit foolish on Clay’s part as this season wasn’t really that impressive and will only lower his draft stock.  I could see it go either way really, but for the Badgers sake and really almost for Clay’s too, I hope he sticks around one more year.

RE: John Clay-Yeah, that worked out so well for P.J. Hill; I can see why Clay would want to go that route.
