Thank God That’s Over – Well, election day has come and gone and I think I stand with a lot of people in saying good riddance to the ads. It was especially bad this past weekend during the games as well as Monday and Tuesday. I tweeted on Sunday that when I first heard the ‘I support this message’ tagline I thought it was brilliant, now it makes me want to vomit. And were campaign ads always so vicious? Seems to be in the last two major elections they’ve really been ratcheted up to be more venomous towards the opponent vs. extolling the virtues of the candidate they’re for. Whether the person you voted for won or lost, we all should be happy we won’t be subjected to anymore political campaigning or ads for another two years & get back to more stimulating ads about beer and male enhancement.
