Some Quick Badger Postgame Observations

I am really, really happy for Montee Ball.
What would have happened if the Badgers did not get the first down on the fake punt in the fourth quarter? They would have lost the game. Either way, I love the call. Playing in Iowa City, with a depleted offense due to injury, it was a fantastic call…made by a head coach that I have differed with in the past.
John Clay ran very, very hard in the second half.
I commented to my son that the Wisconsin defense looks slow every time they play on grass…then realized a short time later that the Kinnick Stadium field has FieldTurf. Oops. Maybe they look slow every time they wear white.
Aside from an ill-advised interception, Tolzien looked every bit the part of an experienced senior quarterback with leadership skills.
JJ Watt is a junior. I am afraid he may be playing on Sundays next year rather than completing is senior season at UW.
I need to keep a program close by to keep track of all the Badger defensive lineman the Badgers are using. I wish a couple of them would display some pass rush skills…soon.
I am afraid to find out the severity of the injuries to Kendricks and White.
Bielema outcoached Ferentz today…didn’t see that coming.
