A Grace Park (Hawaii 5-0) sort of morning.
Well, that was anything but pretty as the Bears beat the Packers last night 20-17. Let’s see what Jersey Al’s first impressions are of the game.
John at GPN has his takeaways from the game as well, in What We Learned Against the Bears.

Now that we’ve had a few days to bask in the glorious 70 points, it’s time to look ahead to Michigan State.

With the final home game of the Brewers season happening on Sunday, there’s one more think we’ll have to wait until next year to see – The Sausage Race. Luckily, Wezen Ball has the Win/Loss Record of the Brewers’ Racing Sausages for posterity.

A Deserved Loss - You win some, you lose some and then some you almost still have a chance to win in-spite of yourself. Had the Packers won last night, which I fully thought they would until James Jones’ fumble, it would have been an undeserved win. Now it is a deserved loss. 18 penalties? Special teams whiffing? No running game or even trying to run? I still believe the Packers are the team to beat in the NFC North no matter the outcome last night but a couple things need to happen, most of them obvious to Packers fans. It’s now up to Coach McCarthy and even Ted Thompson (*cough, running back, cough*) to clean these things up.
