Snake Bitten  – Like I said above, I feel bad for Justin Harrell here.  For the first time since he’s been in the Green & Gold Harrell had a legitimate chance to contribute but then he gets hurt…again.  I had no illusions of Harrell being a world beater defensive linemen for the Packers this year, but he did provide depth which now the Packers are scrambling to fill with him gone.  I’ve done more than my fair share of bashing on Harrell in the past but this time I have to say, it really is too bad about this injury. I was looking forward to watching him play & get a chance to show his detractors a thing or two.  Alas, it would appear that was not fated to happen.

Despite the numerous injuries on Sunday, I actually felt like Green Bay escaped fairly unscathed, even with Harrell going down. But the news of Ryan Grant’s injury hurts. It’ll be interesting to see what Brandon Jackson and this new guy they brought in can do, but it’s really tough to lose a mainstay like Grant. Ball security, hard-nosed, etc…
