Sorry, I’m not buying it.
This report of retirement followed by today’s report of him still wanting to play makes me want to get violent.
Yesterday’s sports’ radio was FILLED with reporters, former players and anyone with any merit talking about the legacy Favre will leave, their best memories and what made him such a great person/player…
At any moment Favre could have stepped up and said, “hold up guys, it’s not true.” But he didn’t. He left everyone scramble around and coddle his heroic career, making us all believe maybe this time it’s over. It’s just sickening.
And you’re surprised by this because…….?
…The Wrangler commercials with that shiny pick up truck, golden lab and followed by that boy-ish smile nearly sucked me right back in. I know better now.
