Friends of the Show

So on Twitter there’s this deal called Follow Friday (#FF) where you basically post a bunch of people’s twitter names that you follow to try and help get them followers. It’s something I never really do as 1) I don’t want to offend anyone if I forget to #FF them and 2) I forget/am too lazy to do it. So instead, I’m gonna take some time this afternoon to single out…ahem, thank same people out there who have supported Pocket Doppler and the Daybreak Doppler by linking to us, giving us props and generally not saying we suck to our faces.

One of the best things I have discovered about the collective Wisconsin sports blogging community is it is just that – a community. While on the face of things we’re all in ‘competition’ for fans, visitors and views I have yet to find a Wisconsin blog writer/owner who isn’t happy to share their fans and visitors with other sites as long as you write about the Packers, Brewers, Badgers, Bucks, Golden Eagles or any other team in Wisconsin.  Sure, we may not always get along but after the dust settles we usually still support each other.

I’ve included twitter links as well as facebook fan pages (if they have them/could find them) so make sure to follow &/or ‘like’ them accordingly. While you’re at it, make sure to like/become a fan of Pocket Doppler on Facebook and follow Pocket Doppler on Twitter to get notified of new posts as they are made or you can follow me to get the same PocketDoppler notifications as well as other inane comments on things. So away we go…
