Corner Turned? – I would have been hard pressed to even think about writing this early last week, but after a series win of the Dodgers and a sweep of Arizona have the Brewers perhaps a turned a corner?  Now, I more likely than not am just riding the good feelings of a West Coast trip that resulted in a 6-4 record but you can’t argue that the turnaround after the San Diego debacle was nothing short of amazing.  We’ll see and perhaps these last few games are more aberration vs. norm, but at least for today I’m going to say the best is yet ahead for the Brewers.

The Brewers have turned the corner…for the time being. But baseball has such a long season; my guess is that there will be several dark turns ahead for the Crew. The real issue is whether they will be able to rebound from the injuries and slumps that are surely awaiting for them around the next corner…and the one after that.
