A Holly Valance (from Melbourne, Australia) sort of morning.
Watching the Bucks game last night I was cautiously optimistic. Going into the half, I still felt that way. Into the 4th quarter I was resigned to seeing one more game at the Bradley center and forcing a game 7, at the end I was ecstatic. As Brew Hoop says in their recap here, the Bucks sure picked a hell of a time to get things together.
The Bucky Channel has more on the road victory which will insure a packed and loud crowd on Friday at the Bradley Center.
On the other side of the spectrum, the Brewers lost in extra-innings yesterday, extra-innings which should have never happened. The Brewers had other opportunities to win (swinging on the first pitch Escobar????) but I stand by what I said to Mike, aka BigSnake Man & Chris yesterday – the game should have been over in the first place. The Brewers Bar has your frustrating recap.

Back to the Bucks - Last night’s win really belongs to Scott Skiles. How Skiles has been able to keep this team motivated and playing hard, especially after the loss of Bogut, is simply a thing of coaching beauty. I know everyone will say the resurgence and return to relevancy for the Milwaukee Bucks lies with Brandon Jennings, and they would have a good argument for that as with maybe the exception of Phil Jackson, coaches don’t put butts in the seats. Without Skiles at the helm though, I don’t think you’d have seen a team come from behind and win on the road last night, Jennings or no Jennings.
