Daybreak Doppler: Almost Hartless
This weeks Daybreak Doppler Dames theme is ‘Hot TV Doctors’.
A Nicky Whelan (Maya, an Australian medical school student on Scrubs [Med School]) sort of morning.
(Ed. Note: Alright, I cheated and today’s DD Dame isn’t a TV Doctor but Dr. Week was a little harder than I thought it would be and wanted to end the week on a high note. Make sure to leave your suggestions in the comments for next weeks DD Dames theme.)
As we head into the weekend, you may be inclined to enjoy an adult beverage or….5. If you have more than that here’s a nice flowchart to help determine what kind of drunk you are.
Seriously Corey Hart, you’re kidding me right? Two outs which should have ended the game and you miss them both? Best tweet of the game on that was this: please revise your “Sunglasses at Night” song to “Sunglass in Right”
As Ryan says in the first sentence of his post, “Jeff Suppan started a game and the Brewers didn’t lose 154-0?” Who would have thunk it. I thought for sure as soon as Lee hit that dinger in the first inning we would be looking at a game that would take 4 hours to play and end up with the Brewers going through the entire bullpen by the 7th. Check out the rest of Ryan’s recap of the game and other notes here.
Miller Park Drunk continues a somewhat recurring theme with a lot of Brewers Blogs of late: To early to panic? Most likely, he’s right though in that it is too early to get too close to the ledge at this point.
Bob Boozer Jinx has a Bucks-Hawks breakdown.
Bucksketball has a nice post with an email interview with Atlanta Hawks blogger Hoopinion.

The Forbes 2010 Fictional 15…good to see Thomas the Tank Engine’s Sir Topham Hatt getting into the mix here.
Is April the best month for sports? Most football fans (minus the draft) would disagree but We’re Bucked makes some convincing arguements.
Beyond have an adult beverage this weekend, you may also be inclined to…you know what, not even going to finish that, here’s the link: Places to have sex before you die.

Of Big Ben - I was paying attention to the latest troubles of Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger but not enough to really care. Then, PFT posted some excerpts from the witness statements last night and holy shit is something wrong here. I don’t know how the DA couldn’t or didn’t prosecute this thing and for all intents and purposes Roethlisberger got off scott free. I think though now that these statements are out there some sort of suspension or repercussion will be coming. While I will be the first person to say that I hate the road Roger Goodell is headed down in regards to the business and operations of the NFL he has done one thing right, and that is not put up with crap from players no matter how heavy handed he may seem at times. Whether or not Roethlisberger was prosecuted or not, someone needs to slap some sense into this yokel and if the State of Georgia won’t, it’ll have to be up to the league.
Have a great weekend and we’ll see you back here on Monday.
