Here we go - I am curiously optimistic about the upcoming Brewers season. Offensively the Brewers should be able to keep up with anyone in the division but as always the starting pitching is the biggest question. I think the Randy Wolf pick-up will turn out better than most expect and with any luck, the starters can work into the later innings and hand off leads to what is a pretty solid bullpen. While I don’t believe the Brewers can beat St. Louis for the Central, I can see them solidly in second and in contention for a Wild Card spot. Calling my shot, I’ll say 85-77 and a wild card berth to the post-season.
