Congratulations Lady Phoenix – Have to take a moment here to give a PD Shout-Out to the UWGB Lady Phoenix for a great season, which is now over after the loss in the Women’s NCAA Tournament against Iowa State. Beyond the typically good regular season, the Lady Phoenix earned the Horizon League’s first ever at-large bid to the tournament and then proved they belonged there by advancing with an upset against Virginia and a close loss last night. More importantly this is a team that will return all its starters next year, which should make for another good run next year.
