The Packers FanFest was this weekend and some big, well big for the Packers, news came out of it.  Nick Collins and Ryan Pickett both got extensions as did Wisconsin’s favorite son Mark Tauscher. While not flashy moves, the signings were all great for the Packers.  Here is some commentary on the weekend activity:

OK, I’ve stalled enough here so may as well talk about the NCAA Tournament and more specifically the Badgers and Golden Eagles.  Both teams were placed in the East Region the Badgers getting a 4 seed and playing on Friday against Wofford and Marquette a 6 seed and playing Washington on Thursday. So rather than focus on what happened this past weekend to both teams, lets look forward to the end of the week.

Finally, last night went to see Gaelic Storm at the Meyer Theater here in Green Bay.  While it kept me up late on a Sunday it was well worth it and if you ever have the chance, go check them out.
