According to an article in yesterday's MJS, Fielder is making a concerted effort to change his image. As far as I'm concerned, as long as Fielder and Braun are raking for the Brewers and not getting into trouble off the field, they can do and say whatever they want. The bowling ball incident and the shirt untucking occurs only after the TEAM wins. If a classy vet like Trevor Hoffman didn't have a problem with it (as he was involved), why should anyone else? It's not like some of these football players 'styling' after a good play when their team is down by 20.

The larger point I was trying to make was that this 'enforcer' stuff doesn't really accomplish anything. It's simply stupid for a pitcher to plunk a batter that's been hitting him; hell, that's his job.

Fielder (and Braun) both need to grow up and tone down the show pony act. It takes away from their accomplishiments...sorry Brewer fans. That being said, hitting Fielder in the first spring training game is lame.
